vintage Astatic model 200-S, desktop PA announcement microphone with detachable base. I believe these were made in the 1950s, its definitely old and cool looking. the element has a limited frequency range with that pleasing midrangy character. 1/4″ hard-wired cable. Sometimes you have to wiggle the cable at the base or there’s ground hum.
